The Sushehat
The Sushehat - Designed and manufactured by the Dutch milliner Peter de Vries for the exhibition hosted by the Museum for Arts and crafts in Hamburg / Germany, concerning “The Japanese Empire and its hats“. The resultant creation is a hat made of finest velour-felt which presents itself as a true shape and form magician. The main challenge on this project was to make sure its packaging is of finest quality aswell as of low cost and easy to handle for the client. The brand design had to be unique and classy, reflecting the japanese background to this hat. The corporate design stayed more or less the same now since 15 years.
